Latest buzz is that the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been signed up to play Rajinikanth's pair in Kochadaiyaan, confirmed its director Soundarya Rajinikanth. There were rumors that Katrina Kaif has bagged role some days ago and Soundarya had also said that she was discussing the project with her.But eventually, it is Deepika for Rajini. The actress was signed up for Rana but during the first day of the shoot, Rajinikanth fell and had to be hospitalized for more than two months.
The Superstar will be seen romancing the leggy beauty, Deepika, onscreen in Kochadaiyaan. The film has music by AR Rahman. KS Ravi Kumar is penning the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film.
