What’s Priyanka Chopra’s first love?

Actress Priyanka Chopra may be super busy, thanks to her umpteen film assignments — showcasing Don 2 in Berlin and juggling the shoot of Krissh 2 in Hyderabad, being among them — but the actor says she can't wait to get back to indulging in her other passion, music. Talking about her impending trip, Priyanka had said, "Yes, I am looking forward to LA and I hope to take a trip by March for sure, probably after I wrap up the Krissh schedule." But now that the actor is expected to attend the Grammy Awards, her trip is happening sooner than expected.

But walking the red carpet and making music are not the only things she's looking forward to in LA. "I've made plenty of friends there and I'm excited about catching up with them over music," she beams. And whether her list of friends includes the 300 action star Gerard Butler, with whom she's known to bond rather well, PC's not telling. Talking about her music album, however, she says that working on it has been a very creatively satisfying experience. "It's like letting a part of yourself take on a new form completely. Wanting to sing on this level had always been a dream. Now, it's come true…" she adds.

But juggling the two, music and films, is not easy, PC admits. And though the actor, who's had a rather successful run with Don 2 last year and now Agneepath, is upbeat about her music career and insists that films will always be her first love. "For the past few months, music had taken a back seat as I was very caught up with my films here. But I've always been clear about that — films will always be a priority for me," she insists.

There's also buzz of the actor working on some offers there. "Right now, I'm busy living it up my way. So, there's never a hard and fast rule as to what direction I would want my career to take. There was never an agenda when I'd started and there's no planning now either," says PC. "All that matters is that I'm getting to do things that I like on my terms. And that for me is more important than accolades," she signs off.
