EA's highly-popular video game series, Need For Speed, is finally getting the big screen treatment!This should be no surprise at all, given the never-ending trend of Hollywood nowadays love to adapt video games into movie version. Screenwriter John Gatins (REAL STEEL) and director Robert Zemeckis has been enlisted to come up a pitch for the big screen version. EA and UTA are currently shop the project around Hollywood, and so far Warner Bros., Sony and Paramount are said to be interested in the deal.
The Need For Speed series began life in 1994 and had became very successful during its subsequent multiple platforms ever since.
